In the news…  A Brief History

Sepia tone Brown County Courthouse (minecraft).png
On a cold and quiet night on March 14, 2015, Nick De Leon had the idea to build the great city of Green Bay, Wisconsin. First it was the Tilleman Bridge, then it was the Brown County Courthouse, then Lambeau Field. Much of the map is presently incomplete, but new structures and landforms are built every day and shared here on this wiki whenever major updates are made! Regardless of whether you are a kid just starting to play, or an elderly person who likes art, the Minecraft Green Bay Wiki will be the best place to see what we all have imagined not possible in a video game!

Add moreDid you know? Did you know…

  • ... that the entire map has been built on a flat map and that most of the land was raised by two blocks?
  • ... that the Green Bay and the Fox River were completely redrawn from an actual map of the real city of Green Bay?
  • ... that more than 90% of the land that's above seven blocks high is hollow and filled with water? This was done to reduce the amount of time to make elevation for the map.
  • ... Oneida, Wisconsin is a town in Outagamie County? It was added in the map due to the noticeable culture of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin.
  • There are 82 streets on the entire map (excluding the highway belt)? 34 streets are located on the west side, 28 of them named. On the east side there is 47 streets, with 36 of them named!
